A new Pub Restaurant has opened in Brampton village.
Christopher and Lucy Hare, two Brampton villagers, are honoured to share their passion for good food, drink and community. The young family have taken over the 180 year old village pub (formally The Harrier and Montaz Indian Restaurant) and opened their doors to the community in October 2018.
In an era where 3 pubs close a week, the village is excited that the old building has been restored back to its former glory and is serving real local ales, an extensive selection of craft gins and provides a wonderful atmosphere for families to gather together, share meals and tell their stories.
In addition, the pub serves great locally sourced fresh food, made to order, by a team of talented chefs with a menu that spans both simple country pub fare and sophisticated dishes for those of a more adventurous palette (test yourself with their Level 1-5 chicken wings).

Perhaps the most successful claim this fledgling local pub can make is the sense of community that has been re-invigorated in the village. The Hare on the Green has already become a focal point for village families to come together and share a meal, a drink and a smile. Their friendly staff are always ready to lend an ear and serve a beer and as they have so quickly established themselves as a pillar of the community, we wish them every success in the years to come.
